FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN THE BOAT ACCOMMODATE?

My 20’ Triton can hold a maximum of 3 guests. I also team up with another guide who is a very good friend of mine to accommodate larger parties. Together we can handle up to 6 guests (3 on each boat).
2

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN EACH CHARTER PACKAGE?

All packages include a "Clean & Bag" service where we take the fish to the dock and I clean them in a clean environment and bag them for you so they are ready to cook and eat. Crappie are some of the tastiest fish you can catch!
The priced charters include 2 guests, (+$100 per extra).
3

WHAT KIND OF BOAT WILL WE BE FISHING ON?

I have a 20’ Triton with a 150 hp Mercury motor that is outfitted with the latest in sonar technology and GPS mapping. (There are pictures in the gallery if you wanna take a look!)
4

IS THE BOAT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?

Special accommodations can definitely be made to make the trip as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. When making your reservation please tell me about any disabilities so I can prepare accordingly.
5

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

You only need to bring snacks, beverages, sunglasses and your fishing license! If you're fair-skinned or burn easily I recommend you bring some SPF 30+ sunscreen so you don't leave with a sunburn! I also suggest you dress lightly and comfortably because we'll be sitting in the sun!
6

ARE THE CHARTERS APPROPRIATE FOR SMALL CHILDREN?

YES! If your child is easily bored I personally recommend you book a charter to fish for Sand bass (only available in the late spring and summer). Sand bass are a hard hitting, fierce fighting fish. Their aggressive nature combined with their schooling tendency means that they'll put up a great fight AND we'll fill the boat!
7

HOW MANY FISH WILL WE CATCH?

Now, this isn't an exact science but I pride myself on my innate ability to not only find fish but also find them in large quantities. I've been on charters where we've easily caught over 100 crappie. Now, that's not typical but it has happened. At the very least I can guarantee you won't leave empty-handed, not even close!
